7x7 Baseball & Softball Practice Net Set with Tee, Ball Caddy & Strike Zone

My daughter is 12 & decided to do sports this year for the first time ever.This is far better than the plastic/rubber t-ball that I had as a kid. It is sturdy yet folds up compactly. It is height adjustable, but I expect parents will need to help doing that.

Assembling this was not easy - you're given a bunch of black tubes & they're not clearly labeled what is what. I was able to figure this out eventually but if you're having difficulties, check out the listing's video. It shows how it comes together. That said, once it's up, it's a nice unit! It's tall & and an optional a strike zone can be affixed to the net. I'm concerned about the clips used to attach to the net. The plastic used here feels cheap & wouldn't be surprised if it fails eventually. If/when it does, you can probably use cheap carabiners in their place. Maybe I'm not hitting with that much power but I didn't find I needed to use the hooks to secure this to the ground. I like that it came with a carrying case but was disappointed to see a hole near the handle. It's not a dealbreaker but I have a feeling this hole will spread as this gets used. Regarding the tee, the min/max height setting is 30"/40". I typically don't like tripod type tees, especially for young ones learning to hit. The way I look at it, get this for the net & the carrying case... the tee is a freebie that's tossed in. I knocked off a star for the hole in the carrying case, the unclear instructions & the plastic clips. Otherwise, I'd recommend to friends & family.

I got this to have fun at events I host. This baseball one is very easy to setup. Connecting the main supports is very easy by slipping the pools together. Next place the net on the flexible poles and strap it on the bottom. Once up the net is steady. Since I use this in a small are this 7x7 size is perfect, fits great under a canopy. Once done everything fits inside the supplied carry bag which is pretty good. This kit also come with strike zones and a ball holder. Ball holder is built ok but not very sturdy but good for this price point. The net is able to catch a soccer ball. This provides good way to practice at a close range at slow speeds. If you are going to hit the ball with all our strength you may damage the frame and I do not recommend. Sand bags or anchors will help it from tipping over. Overall fun way to entertain and play for prizes. Keep in mind this thing is very large in size. It towers above me and I’m 6 ft tall but fits in front of a 10x10 popup tent keeping guests protected from the sun while using this net. It's very sturdy on our patio, and on the grass with the spikes it shouldn't go anywhere. It's definitely geared more towards bigger kids playing bigger leagues. However my tee ball son loved hitting balls into it. And for throwing it's good for any age. I took some adult swings at it as well and it had no problem stopping anything I hit, without leaning or tipping at all.

I have a daughter that is a competitive disc golfer and plays at a high level. I'm a firm believer that to play to a high level, one must practice at a high level.

I already have a couple nets for her to throw into and thought that it would be good to get something to add targets to aim at, thus improving her accuracy off the tee. SO I grabbed this one up to see if it would work on the frame we already have. Not quite, BUT, I grabbed a couple pieces of PVC pipe and built my own frame. I put it where is is balanced up several feet off the ground so that she didn't get too used to throwing super low all the time thus killing her distance.

This net is phenomenal. Even without the frame you can easily modify this to work anywhere you want to use it, it's very well made and will serve her for years of practice. I'm glad I took the risk and grabbed it up. I would do this again anytime. Thank you for a great product.

Now that I'm older, I try to stay in shape, as best I can. And, like many former athletes my age, I am constantly testing myself, to see if I can still do certain things that I used to. In this case, can I still throw a frozen rope, 30 yards across the middle and, of course, on target? That is where this 7 foot by 7 foot BaseGoal football replacement net comes into play. Therefore, when I got the chance to get one, I did not waste a minute. I already had a 7 foot by 7 foot baseball practice frame, and just switched nets. It was just that simple, and a perfect fit. This, seemingly, well made, and durable, dense net consists of 1.5 inch square mesh openings, and is made of a 7-strand knotless polyester. There are 3 velcro connectors, at the bottom, which helps hold the net more firmly to the frame. Ground stakes are included, to hold the frame in place, and prevent tipping. For even more stability, I place sandbags on the bottom of the frame. Lastly, this thing is so cool, and so versatile. It allows me to be able to go out and practice, on my own, without having to find someone to play receiver. The one drawback of practicing solo is the fact that I had to buy a lot of footballs, in order to keep from having to run back and forth, after each throw. Trust me, it was worth it.

Very easy to assemble, just 6 poles plus the net. Durability of the next feels really good. The net is stable too when throwing into it.

My son is aspiring to be his team QB this fall. We picked this up for him to start practicing. He loves practicing his throwing to the different positions. As far as quality, this thing is much better than expected. The poles and netting are solid. It comes with a carrying bag to pack everything up and store away. It's compact enough to fit in a trunk and take it to the park and play too.

We got this so that we could go out in the yard & practice throwing balls &/or footballs with our kiddos. We have a 3 year old, a 6 year old, & a 9 year old. And really IT'S GREAT for ALL of them! They are all expelling thier energy, all while getting in thier daily activities & exercise in for the day. Not to mention it's a great time killer for those boring days! Or it can be a great party game or competition for when you have company or guests over.

The Basegoal Football throwing net did the trick. The kids are throwing on it in the yard and have had no issues. The build seems fairly decent and it was able to absorb the kids humming passes at it all day long.Carrying case was a nice touch and the assembly wasn’t too complicated.

Larger than life net which took me 10 minutes to assemble while reading the instructions. I’m confident that I can reassemble it in a matter of 2 minutes now that I’m experienced. This purchase came with an entirely deflated football which would need your own pump to inflate. It also come with 4 U-shape stakes to anchor and a long carrying bag (hung on the left of net) to hold the entire unit once disassembled. I will use this for baseball, football practices, and as a game at our block party.

My son has gotten into football and we have been looking for equipment to give him practice. The net is great helping him try to perfect his throwing skills. The net anchors into the ground and stays put even during stormy weather. The net will topple over but it will not fly away once anchored. It does sway with the wind and moves the target out of the way at times when he is out throwing but for the most part it stays in place. The huge netting helps with rebounds and keeps him from having to run after the balls. This is a good piece of equipment for yourself or child needing to practice or strengthen your throwing arm. So far no complaints.

First off, the quality is top-notch. The 7-strand polyester net is super durable. I've been hammering it with power balls and it doesn’t show any sign of wear. The frame, made of heavy-duty iron, is solid and stable. It's been outdoors for a while now, and I haven't noticed any rust or bending.

The QB accuracy trainer feature is brilliant. It's really upped my throwing game. The target pockets are a standout – sturdy, and well-reinforced, and they genuinely help in honing my accuracy. These pockets mimic real receiving zones, making my practice more realistic.
Set up and take down? A breeze. I was skeptical about the 'less than 5 minutes' claim, but it holds true. No tools, no fuss. And it's light enough to move around without breaking a sweat. The fiberglass poles are a nice touch, adding strength without the weight.
